Grandma Came Today!

Grandma arrived from Tennessee today ...a whole day early! We're gearing up to celebrate Landon's birthday this weekend. The boys love their Grandma! Here she is reading what Landon calls "my new, new book" Chicken Little. Lennox likes pushing the buttons and making Grandma laugh.

Quality of pictures

Okay, so I know that no one is really reading this yet, but I really want the quality of my pictures to be good here. I noticed that when I uploaded my pics directly to Blogspot, the quality suffers, and it also took forever to do. If I upload them to Flickr and then start the blog from there, the quality is drastically improved. But, it only allows me to blog one picture at a time. I still haven't figured out how to put more than one picture in a single post. Hopefully I can figure it out soon! If you are reading this, keep checking back for more pics.

Rambo Party

We spent Sunday at Tim and Samantha's house in what they uniquely called a "Rambo Party." They had bought all four of the Rambo movies and we spent the whole afternoon and evening trying to get through them. We ended up skipping III and went right to IV - which is EXTREMELY graphic and gory! Thank goodness the boys were watching Thomas in the other room by that point. Can you believe, Sly Stallone is making yet ANOTHER Rambo movie? What, wiping out the fellow residents of his nursing home?? It was so much fun hanging out with Tim and Samantha; they are getting to be very good friends. I am so grateful for them!

Blast from the Past

I am reactivating my Flickr account so that it's MUCH faster to post pictures here on my blog. It takes SO long to do it otherwise. I didn't upload any new ones yesterday, so I'm sharing an oldie but goodie. This is from our Chesapeake/Delaware trip, Summer 2007. Landon was not quite 2 (hard to believe) and Lennox was still a tiny baby bean (even harder to believe). This was a great shot I got of Landon at the north end of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.

Last day of vacation

Today was officially my last day to spend with the boys before school starts. (Band director meetings tomorrow, going to Tim and Samantha's on Sunday!) So the boys and I decided to go to the "Pancake Store" (Landon's name for IHOP) this morning. I think they enjoyed it - judge for yourself.

Afterwards we went to Target and printed out some pictures and got diapers. At one point, after we visited the restroom, Lennox tried for a getaway and got halfway out the front door. Thanks to the nameless mommy who helped snag him before he got flattened in the parking lot.

Alright, I know, I am not the world's best at keeping anything up for that long. Landon had a baby blog that went away quickly. But I'm going to try VERY HARD this time. I just got a new camera this week and it is making me very excited about taking pictures. I will try to share some every few days at least.
